Welcome
EL Education's 2026 National Conference
EL Education’s National Conference (ELNC) is our signature event. It's an annual gathering of educators, school leaders, education thought leaders and field influencers, and partners committed to transforming teaching and learning. Grounded in EL Education’s vision for student achievement, ELNC brings together a diverse community to share best practices, explore innovative strategies, and deepen understanding of what it means to prepare students not only for academic success, but for meaningful lives as engaged citizens

ELNC26 will take place October 27–30, 2026, in San Francisco, California, and will center on the idea of Metamorphosis. This year’s conference highlights the power of teaching that transforms—shaping how students see themselves and the world, while educators continuously evolve their practice. Through sessions, collaboration, and shared experiences, participants will explore how student-centered approaches—such as learning expeditions, student-led conferences, literacy-rich curriculum, Crew, and meaningful student work—create lasting impact within and beyond the classroom.
Join us to connect with peers from across the country, gain practical tools and inspiration, and engage in a dynamic professional learning experience rooted in purpose, equity, and real-world impact. This event is for educators both within and outside of EL Education's partner community.
Want to multiply your metamorphosis?
